What Is FIRST Robotics?
FIRST Robotics is an event where “Under strict rules, limited time and resources, teams of students are challenged to raise funds, design a team "brand," hone teamwork skills, and build and program industrial-size robots to play a difficult field game against like-minded competitors. It’s as close to real-world engineering as a student can get. Volunteer professional mentors lend their time and talents to guide each team. Each season ends with an exciting FIRST Championship” (Firstinspires.org)
YOU Belong in Robotics!
We have had team members who were also football players, wrestlers, cheerleaders, band members, esports members, soccer players, bowlers, members of the art club, actors in theatre, and more.
You do stuff. We need doers.
Why Join?
Our robotics program is a great introduction to STEM fields, and creates opportunities with colleges and businesses alike.
We regularly see college scouts and businesses at our competitions to meet with robotics students.
About Us
Twin River Robotics was started in 2017 by a group of high school students passionate about science and technology. This program has been shown to be extremely beneficial to students who want real-life experience in STEM fields.
Our robotics team fields effective, entirely student-built robots in order to compete across the state.
